Any other Rookie Tournaments?

I know that there is one in California for Anaheim, Phoenix, LA and San Jose, but are there any others this year? Usually there is a tourney in Hull I think, but are they holding off spending any money cause of the CBA?

The tournament in Traverse City, Michigan is being held this year... but it's only 3 teams [STL, DET, TB].

Here's the schedule:
Friday, September 10
9:30 a.m. St. Louis Practice
6 p.m. Blues vs. Detroit

Saturday, September 11
9:30 a.m. St. Louis Practice
6 p.m. Blues vs. Tampa Bay

Sunday, September 12
Noon St. Louis Practice

Monday, September 13
TBA St. Louis Practice
6 p.m. Semifinal Game
(second place vs. third place)


Tuesday, September 14
Noon Championship Game

The tournament will be held at Disney Ice in Anaheim.

Thursday, Sept. 9th
S.J. vs. Pho 4:00pm
L.A. vs. Ducks 7:00pm

Friday, Sept. 10th
Pho vs. L.A. 4:00pm

Saturday, Sept. 11
Team practices

I *might* be going to this year's prospect tourney in Traverse City. Not sure though, as I might have to fly out to california in the very near future.

Flames and Oilers are having a rookie tourament. No word on which Oiler prospect Phaneuf is going to sandwhich this time. :snide:

Thanks for the info everyone, it's always nice to see who is on the rosters, as lots of former OHL'ers usually pop up.

Well he probably will hurt someone. Letting out his frustration because the oilers prospects will be just owning the flames. It might be Schremp he goes after, cause he seem to try hit all the good players. eg Pouliot, and at this years WJHC tryouts crosby.

No I think he was calling him a head hunter. Like Bryan Allen or Marchment. They only seem to go for the big hit on star players.

Actually, Phaneuf will hit anyone, including "star" players. Those guys shouldn't, and won't get a free ride.

A headhunter, well that just isn't true.
