Just testing to see fi theres any interest in striking up an ATD a lot would go into it, as in judges, teams, playoff system. so it wouldn't be up and run it.

Might make more sense to do lists by position first...the varied amount of positions in football will leave a lot more discussion about position importance over time (valuable in its own right) than discussion about the historical merits of a player.

A positional list (top 25? 30? 50? QBs, then RBs, then WRs, etc.) makes for a more seamless transition into an ATD. See: HoH board.

At best, there are six positions in modern hockey: C, LW, RW, LD, RD, G. In football, the number is massive by comparison and therefore drafting an entire team with absolutely zero historical foundation on this board will probably result in wonky, under-researched results or appear to be a project too large to be undertaken start to finish.

I'm in for whatever, as it's a good vehicle to do actual historical research and would provide motivation I wouldn't organically generate...but it's a tough sell in totality...and I say that as an ATD vet myself haha...
