He's just so good at everything. A complete 2 way defenseman. Sounds ridiculous, but I would have a hard time choosing between him and Hedman.
For the most part, these numbers stack up very well against the best defensemen in the league; in terms of similarity scores, Stralman's 2014-15 campaign looks like some of the best work of guys like Ryan Suter, Dougie Hamilton, Kris Letang and Kevin Shattenkirk. Which is obviously worth more than $4.5 million.
Of course, we know that usage plays a huge role in how players produce, and it stands to reason that Stralman might have been able to take things a little easier given how strong Tampa's top-four was this year. But Cooper went in the opposite direction, pressing him into some of the most difficult scenarios the team had to offer, to an extent that no coach has ever used him before (this chart includes both the regular season and playoffs):

"I watched him in the playoffs a lot last year, but he's not the type of guy that people really watch when they are watching the game," Matthew Carle said. "He flies under the radar a bit. I saw it as early as training camp just how good he really can be. He has a ton of poise. He never really panics with the puck. Any time it looks like he is in trouble, he seems to be able to get out of it. He isn't flashy, but never, ever makes mistakes. As a defenseman, that's what you'd love to be known for. You don't really want to be noticed out there. He's been a huge part of our team this year."
Good article on Anton: http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=770054&navid=DL|NHL|home
Quote at the end by Matt Carle sums up quite succinctly why many of us did not want him to leave:
Toronto really made some bad trades of some Swedes.
Kenny Jönsson to Islanders
Fredrik Modin to Tampa
Strålman to Rangers...
They really dont have patience with talent!
Bummer to the Leafs!
Great article on Strålman and his family's journey to get here, sounds like it was tough one so I'm happy to hear that they finally feel that they can create a home for themsleves and their family.

Really good article. I hadn't known that Stralman has asthma. Or that health care high schools exist
It's basically a three year education to become an assistant nurse. From there you go on to a university to become a registered/specialist nurse.
Yeah the asthma caused the health issues his second year in Columbus. He missed games 4-5 times due to illness and if I recall correctly, lost about ten pounds that season.
12 points in 33 games. good season so far?
