With the amount of blowhards round these parts it's nice to have a few on the up and up like JTS. Thanks for the insight man!

Good news. Really never know what you have with these guys from Europe and how willing they really are to go to the AHL if needed, but it's nice to see guys that aren't 1st rounders trending well.

Wasn't MacT directly responsible for Slepyshev and Yakimov? Maybe his calling is to scout young players in Russia:laugh:

I'm assuming he will need time in the ahl think he will make a good NHL 3rd liner though.

Always exciting to actually get one of these guys out of Russia.

Hopefully he can score for us in the AHL. We've had a heck of a time trying to find guys who can score.

Always nice to get a decent prospect signed. I don't have high hopes for Slepyshev, but hope he proves me wrong!

3 yrs ELC is perfect. Fits into our window. He should be beasting around 23-24 years old.

Could be a cheap scoring winger when we need value contracts. I'm looking forward to seeing what he can do at the AHL level.

Hoping he makes it just for the fact that I love his nickname 'Slepy'...

I'm sure the two Yaks are very excited about this signing.

Praying he does well in the AHL and we can flip him to Nashville with other stuff for a good defenseman next summer

Of all the teams in the NHL I would imagine they are near the top of the list for 'gunshy about Russians'
