He may get a PTO or a late signing but hes 35 and he'll have to decide if he even wants to go another year. His salary has been fading and I can't see a reason to take like 1x1mil unless its with a legit contender.

He already got a Cup with Chicago so the only incentice would be if he actually wanna keep playing.

I could see him signing a PTO with Toronto if he wants to keep playing but this is probably the end of the road for him tbh

I think Pens should sign him.
Because it looks like they could use another C in their lineup :sarcasm:

The guy competes hard and is almost as good as it gets on the dot, but he can't handle a puck to save his life. Strange enough, he is pretty coordinated using his feet to corral the puck, but I fully expect it to blow up once his stick touches it.

During this past season he definitely did not look like a guy who was hungry to compete for another contract. Still good in the dot but otherwise he's just a warm body.

Then he is probably done for... is he living in Arizona when he doesn't play? or does he live in Canada? Not sure how old his kids are, but I doubt they wanna move them around to new schools every year for another $1 bucks. He's made $35m+ over his career. I think he'll do fine.

I’d sign him on Toronto as a faceoff specialist. He’s a gud pro.

As said above, he seems to still have the physical abilities to play but he's skating around like a headless chicken. Could help to teach kids on the dot but otherwise.... pretty useless player. Maybe on a very strictly structured system but I don't know why anybody wouldn't rather give this job to a prospect. He should be more focused on a coaching career at this point.

I can see MTL inviting and signing him
Why? They signed Plekanec who's a much better option at 4th C. Let DLR play instead of signing a guy who'd be a bandaid at best. Not saying any of these things are good, by any means... but the Habs don't need Antoine.

He'll be a camp signing once teams get a better sense of where the holes are in the bottom-six.

I could actually see Philly taking a shot at him if they send Frost back, set Laughton at 3C yet don't particularly like any of Vorobyov, Vecchione, Lehtera, Weal, etc. for the 4C.

Colorado could use him just on his face-off ability alone. Sakic has done a ton of good in the last year or so...but not bringing in someone to compete for a roster spot that is a face-off expert given what happened last season in the circle is just a bad idea.

PTO, if he is decent offer him a spot as the face-off specialist/13th forward. Young roster could use the vet presence and even if he is just around to school the young guys in practice on face-offs and fill in here or there its a good signing.

Promise to send him to a contender at the deadline if the Avs are out of it and/or if he is not playing regularly. One contender or another will be willing to throw him a bone at the deadline for that elusive playoff depth guy if the Avs are not in the mix.
