Not sure why nobody started one:

I just want to point out how disgusted I am by the double standard. Stepan + Raanta got traded for 7th overall (Lias Andersson ) and DeAngelo.

Lias flipped silver medal into the stands Rangers did nothing. Lias sucked at skating Rangers did nothing. Lias quit on his team and went home, Rangers bent over backwards for him and agreed to let him play in Sweden. Lias crapped on the Rangers in interviews, Rangers did nothing and said nothing. Lias refused the invitation for playoffs roster, Rangers were cool with that, they even sent JD to kiss his ass and talk sense into him. Lias did not do anything for Rangers organization to make anybody feel good or proud.

DeAngelo has a rough start with the Rangers, gets sent down to Hartford. Next season produces 30 points in 61 games with +6 ratings, the season after he produces 53 points in 68 games(most of them even strength), 15 goals including a hat trick and a +12 rating.

Next season 1st game Rangers are being blown out 0-4 he gets called for some marginal penalty he slams the door yells at the ref gets an extra penalty. So instead of treating it as good he got his frustrations out and think of it as an opportunity to practice PK in a meaningless game the coach infuriates him by scratching him for 2 games and after that he barely plays him on the PP. Then in the last game Georgiev allows every soft goal imaginable 4 of them when DeAngelo is on the ice, so he knows the coach that hates him has good excuse to scratch him next game, so he says some sarcastic remark to Georgiev whose reply is to physically hit DeAngelo. But unlike a guy that quit on his organization and the organization went kissing his ass, here the organization gave up on the player and basically either on purpose or out of stupidity ruined his reputation, image, career, and possibly life.

DeAngelo never quit on his organization, never threw away any medals, never crapped on his team in an interview. Unlike Lias he performed beyond expectations, produced great numbers, he fought much bigger men to protect his teammates.

Where is the justice and common sense? I cannot trust these coaches and this management after this stunt. What they did was incorrect and not fair.

You would have been crying if the Rangers just let Lias out of his contract and got nothing in return troll.

Someone did start one and it was locked/deleted, because his fanclub and his haters can't play nicely.

1. there was no need to let him out of his contract to trade him
2. the value we got back was less than expected
3. they did not have to stoop down to inviting him to the playoffs
4. it is their treatment of DeAngelo that I really have problem with, not their treatment of Lias, Lias sounded like he didn't even want to be in NHL, he wanted to be in SHL. DeAngelo wanted to be in NHL and they decided to ruin him for no apparent reason.

Yea, it’s the Rangers fault they had to kick him out of the room six games into the season after giving him a lucrative two year contract, that was definitely the plan to ruin him.

They had to? No, they did not have to, which is what is so upsetting that they did that and implied to all the fans and all the teams that he is some sort of cancer.

How many warnings has he gotten since he’s been here? How many we are handling it internally have we gotten.? The woe is me for Tony as he’s soon to be on his way to his 4th NHL team at 25 years old is laugh out loud funny.

Rangers Mods already nuked this once.
They can review and decide again.
Until then.
