Pietila has actually played NHL games, I can't really see how anyone can justify putting any of the remaining players over him.

I'm actually confused with how these are supposed to go. Are we voting on their potential? Guys like Coleman and Pietila are more likely to becomes NHLers but a guy like Grignac or Seney might have higher potential.

There really isn't a whole lot of rhyme or reason to it.

Personal opinion.

I give weight to a players NHL readiness, but I do not see it as overly important.

Otherwise Pietila and mozik would be ahead of McLeod and Bastian.

Have to find that balance.

Went Coleman. Add Thomson.

Find the waters very muddled at this point. I have a fairly high level of interest in Bratt, maybe shiny new toy syndrome, but he is so far aways it's hard to make judgement. Went with the safer choice.

I actually like Rykov and Appleby a lot.

The only reason I haven't already voted Appleby is the unpredictability of goalies. He's a very good prospect. Better than Wedge IMO. Doesn't have a lot of flaws in his game. The only reason he wasn't drafted is because he was a backup and then Oshawa was an amazing team so people thought it was inflating his numbers. He posted spectacular ECHL stats in a league that defense is awful in. His athleticism is somewhat of a concern but he is 6'5" so he can take up so much of the net that it's not a huge issue. He's one of my favorite prospects in the whole organization. He just seems like a good hardworking kid.
