He helped Panarin a lot to get used to NA life, so I'm sure he can help Gusev as well, if Vegas is going to bring the latter to the league. And Anisimov is still pretty solid player by himself, so what would it take to get him to Las Vegas?

As a deadline acquisition?

Last year's Maroon trade might be the closest comparable. So maybe two 3rd round picks?

No room and no interest. Besides which, they already have his old teammate Zykov.

They could also just sign Yakovlev or Yelesin for the purposes of helping show Gusev around town. (or bring Afinogenov into the org if he retires).

Not sure, Zykov will play in Las Vegas next year, because he doesn't look like an NHLer, unlike Anisimov.
