Espo got to play with Radulov, while Bowman was cursed with players who couldnt finish if their lives depended on it.

Espo did not play with Radulov at the end of the season, nor the playoff run or Memorial Cup. He centered the second line and that's where his point production fell off. That being said, he still generated alot off chances.

Wasn't he playing hurt during that run too?

so ya, he ran cold in the pplayoffs, but he still had a VERY healthy regular season. is 40 points in 27 games really that bad? he went from a nearly a point every game to nearly a point and a half a game. come on gimme a break.

if he had the pace of the second half spread throughout an entire season he'd be praised still.
