You've likely seen far more rediculous arguments on these forums before. Some posters make rediculous claims, calling Vasi amazing is not one of those.

He's really good. One of the rare times that picking a goalie as high as him in the draft is worth it and then some. Among the best goalies in the world and not old.

Regardless of the streak, this guy is a franchise player and the best goalie I've seen play/followed in all my years as a fan (in terms of beginning of career onward). I was lucky enough to see Brodeur/Roy/Hasek etc. as well, but wasn't able to appreciate them fully at first because I just wasn't familiar enough with the game and their body of work, until a few years of becoming a diehard fan. I truly belive Vasy will go down as one of the all-time greats, just a treat to watch. Hate to make this post but I think he's that special.
