LOL beauty empty netter?!?! You lost me there.
Svechnikov now has 23 points in 21 games and has been an absolute horse. He obviously had that lacrosse goal, but he’s scored a few more goals with some absolutely lethal wrist shots.
He’s been sensational this year. I expected him to be good, but not this good this soon.
Watching Svechnikov take a step and Necas get off to a hot start (15 in 21) has me feeling extremely excited about the future. They can compete at a high level consistently with what the Aho/Teravainen/Svechnikov/Necas core group of skill players has the potential to be.
Yeah, people knew he would be a beast, but still the kid is just 19. He now leads his team in points (and his team leads the NHL in points), plays good defense, and what a beauty empty netter he scored last night! He's really fast and explosive!
FWIW, I know some people that question that.
Don Cherry? Or are there more guys who can't trust anything from Russia, even the birth dates?FWIW, I know some people that question that.

nobody really cared last year because its Carolina and Svech wasn't Dahlin, but they we were so incredibly lucky to win the lottery and get the best forward in the draft. They jumped, what, like 10 spots in the draft? A 2% chance to win? The good thing about jumping up so far is they already had a decent team though which allowed them to bring him along slowly last season, which contributed to the lack of hype. I'm hoping by next year we're saying the same thing about Kakko.
