Right now Kuchin is playing in VHL-B (third level in Russia) for Rostov.

The career of this talented kid was destroyed in the QMJHL. After the two seasons in the Canadian juniors his career was practically over, after being a great prospect in Russia.

I am not so sure he is playing there, not following too closely though. He is certainly not on the official roster on the VHL-b web-site.

He tried out two years straight though.

It's scary though, that a guy who was a notable presence in the CHL cannot play in the vhl-b anymore. some players in this league are mhl-b grads.

Actually Kuchin's reputation was sullied in Russia, due to bad rapport with coaches. That is why he left for the CHL.

Kuchin actually never played in the QMJHL he played a year in the USHL before playing two in the OHL. You have to admit that although there are many kids that don't develop because of making the move too early, some of the kids who don't develop just may not have the right mindset or correct attitude to succeed.

All the more reason for them to stay home.

Why would you want an immature teenager going overseas?
