This year people are endorsing Kappy and Johnsson, they have 13 and 12 points this year to date, Brown meanwhile has 14 points and his center is Pageau. I wouldn't consider Pageau anywhere close in talent level to JT or Matthews.

Mikheyev on the 4th line behind person mmmmm don't think so
I like Engvalls game but keep him him on the 4th line. He has only played 2 games .

Love Brownie but come on. He's finally getting Top6 mins and look at that chart. Look at his /60 rates for GF, xGF, and CF compared to Mango.

Over here, I'd still go Kappy over Brown. Kap's offense has been neutered due to a cold JT & Marner + Hyman injury earlier. The offense should pick back up.

I like Brown a lot as he absolutely worked his ass off to become an NHL player, but its insane to think he's above Kapanen or Johnsson. It's not even close.

Keefe will figure it out between Hyman-Mik, between Matty-JT and Willy-Marner when everyone is healthy. Who knows how it will go but some combination therein.

Matthews line is better with Johnsson, Tavares line is better with Hyman, just need Marner to get healthy then let them fly.

Last year was the first year Hyman had a noticably positive impact on a line, I would see if it works again this year.

I don't think you can compare a player on Ottawa and Toronto equally. That's like comparing a desperate Bozak with Kessel trying to tie-up the game to Bozak as a 3rd line center. Look at Spezza, he's getting about 3 minutes less ice-time and he already has a 1/3rd the points he had the previous season. Matthews currently has the same amount of points that Dallas's 4th highest forward had last season. What was Spezza suppose to do with that? I'd hate to see Johnsson or Kapanen trying to carry C.Brown's load right now. Can you imagine them on a team who's number one center has never broke Zack Hyman for assists in a single season?
