I was harsh on him early in the season but he's slowly winning me over, but I still don't think he'll ever be more than a 2nd line winger on decent team.

This data is current on nhl.com as of the time of the above post, but it's entirely possible that the website did not update stats since last night's game.

EDIT: I see the issue. My post is referring to 18 ES goals. You are correct that he has 20 goals overall, including 2 on the PP.

This is one of the few right here. He has forced Trashill's hand and made him play him. Keeps producing given shit time and shit lines. Watch what happens when the Kenny and can connection are gone.

I'd say it's pretty accepted that he has a low hockey IQ. Might as well put him out there with less offensively gifted guys so he can just work his one-man-show. It might just be the best situation for him and the team.


He's a nice piece that can potentially find an offensive role anywhere in the top-9. But if you're trying to make an argument that he's some sort of top-10 NHL winger that is just being held back, I disagree

Look, I realize talking about AA gets polarizing very quickly. That's why I didn't do anything other than lay out facts.

The facts say he's scoring goals at an elite rate without playing on a line with an elite playmaker. You can choose to extrapolate from there or just be impressed.
