Proposal: Andre Burakovsky for Christian Fischer

Pretty straightforward one-for-one deal. Both teams have been scouting each other and Arizona has been specifically linked to Burakovsky, per Friedman.

In terms of this season, Burakovsky has 12 goals and 13 assists in 56 games. He’s averaging 11:16.

Fisher 11 goals and 5 assists in 59 games. He’s averaging 13:19.

Last season, Burakovsky had 25 points in 56 games while Fischer had 33 in 79 (as a rookie).

Burakovsky is 24, has a $3 million cap hit and will make similar money next season as he is a pending RFA.

Fischer is 21 and is on the second year of his ELC, so this deal would offer Washington a decent amount o cap relief.

I don't think that's who Wsh is looking for, but I can get behind this as a Caps fan.

At draft, maybe, havent seen much of Fischer. but right now ill rather have Bura for the playoffs-run.

If its just for cap relief we can let him walk in the summer or try to sign him for cheaper after not qualifying his current contract.
