Speculation: Anaheim Ducks Roster Discussion Part IV

Just a reminder:
Players on a NHL roster at 3 PM ET tomorrow aren’t eligible to play in the rest of the AHL 2019-20 season or Calder Cup Playoffs.
Players may be reassigned to AHL on Monday, then recalled shortly after. Teams do get 4 non-emergency recalls after the deadline.

Makes sense, Backes isn't really an option to play tonight and they should have a spare forward up.

Steel also hasn't played there at all and Larsson didn't go down during the break. Although, I suspect they all go anyway, a playoff run is obviously something you'd want them to experience again.

Bob admitted he screwed up by not doing paperwork to send Gibson down in a similar situation. I wouldn't be surprised if he sent some of these guys down to get the playoff experience. Especially since there's no telling when the Ducks will give them that experience here.

Bob admitted he screwed up by not doing paperwork to send Gibson down in a similar situation. I wouldn't be surprised if he sent some of these guys down to get the playoff experience. Especially since there's no telling when the Ducks will give them that experience here.

That's what makes me think Steel is going. Gibson was an NHL starter who won the Jennings that year lol, Steel would have to be on another level to avoid it by that standard.

Yeah that could totally work, too. I just put Heinen & Terry on a line because of their history at Denver together.
