^that's the sign of a really good player, strange how bobby ryan could never mesh with anyone, yet perreault can play with vets, kids, speed, or size and remain productive

This is undoubtedly one of Murray's best trades as GM of the Ducks. Or at least early on it seems that way. His 13 points put him in a tie for 7th in league scoring.

He's making me eat crow that's for sure. He's 30th in league scoring according to nhl.com though. Getzlaf at 16 points isn't even in the top 10 right now.

The best part about Perreault's production so far is he is the one largely Creating the offense. In seeing his point production, it doesn't appear like it is the product of good line mates or being at the right place at the right time, but rather his creativity with the puck is generating scoring chances with whomever he is playing with.

Love that he seems to find chemistry with whomever is on his wings. His line is usually the most energetic when our other lines seem to be asleep. Great work ethic out there.

I think he's thriving because he isn't one of those typical BM "recycle-the-old-first-round-pick" type player. :sarcasm: (Paul Mara, Aaron Ward, Nick Boynton, etc.)
