Sounds like they are just re-structuring their corporate partnership, as opposed to 'parting ways'.
As Amway is actually a pyramid scheme (paying a $56M settlement for same as recently as 2010, and having been accused by everyone from the FTC to Harvard professors in the past), this is probably for the best. The fewer NHL teams associated with these clowns, the better.
I noticed while attending a preseason game that the giant Amway banners above The Joe's scoreboard were replaced with Kroger banners. I was pretty happy to see that.
I believe they still have the little Amway patches on the practice Jersey's though, which is a huge waste of advertising money for Amway, but I'm fine with that.
