The NDTP U-17 team has been hit pretty hard by injuries - and they've needed a bunch of "call-ups" the last few weeks. Some of fit right in and played well -

Cole Eiserman apparently had an incredible national championship performance for Shattuck, leading in scoring and capped it off with 5 goals in the final. It's very early I know, but hopefully he is our next possible elite 1OA type of prospect.

Cole Eiserman at eliteprospects.com

That Shattuck team was loaded. It'll be interesting to see how many of the 2006 players make prep next year if they stay at Shattuck.

Hopefully Eiserman, Park, Celebrini, Murray, etc. end up split between Prep and the U16 team for their development.

Well this completely snuck up on me. A lot of guys not involved in this camp due to covid complications. Just quickly looking I’m guessing the kids who couldn’t go might include Quentin Musty, Tanner Adams, Will Smith, Will Vote maybe Christian Ventincinque, then the Minnesota kids like William Whitelaw, Gracyn Sawchyn, and Jason Shaugaby.

edit: the invited guys are in the replies to the tweet

Ryan Leonard and Ryan Shaw? I missed them.

Is there a full camp invite list? Seems like some outlets have it/ know invitees but nothing complete has leaked.

A couple MN names that made the list that weren't on my radar at all. Carter Davis from Elk River and Gavin Reed of Benilde-St Margaret's. Reed has a much more hyped '05 teammate named Drew Stewart who somehow isn't there, not sure what happened there.

Also Carsen Musser, a goalie from Fairmont is on the list. If you follow MN hockey at all you'll know how shocking it is to see a Fairmont kid there. They're usually one of the few worst teams in the state out of 150ish teams at the high school level.

The 05 forward crop from MN is probably just a lot better than the D one.

All the 'names' you'd expect are pretty much there.
So, no Eiserman on this list means it's settled, he won't be an underager for NTDP? Not that I was expecting it, but if he was going to be on the team, presumably he would also have to attend the tryout camp and earn the spot. In the end, I think this is the right call as he should play for Shattuck's Prep team next year.

NTDP has a policy against allowing underagers, so he wasn't even in contention.

Thanks for the full list. Yeah bringing an underager just seems like something USAH will never do. I've always thought if we had a McDavid level prospect if say the OHL would grant exceptional status and then maybe force the NTDPs hand.

And yeah basically all of the big names, this looks like a great group hopefully. One name I was curious about was Denver Damphousse a dual citizen and he's been playing with Buffalo Jr. Sabres, but I guess not.

Also Gabriel Perrault here I wonder how that will play out. Apparently he's highly regarded. Him and his brother (Jacob Perrault) grew up and played in Illinois but Jacob opted for the OHL and Canada. Not often you see brothers split nations in their decisions.

Jacob Perrault isn't locked in with Canada yet!

This is actually incredible. I know it’s how hockey development skews to the older kids, but still that seems wild.

Some names I recognized. McCarthy, Slaggert, Perreault, Buium, Briere, and St. Louis. I’m guessing all these players are related to the players you’d think they are related to.
