Today marked the last day of Stanton-Judge mania in Durham as the Bulls fell 7-3 to Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, putting this side of the series at 2-1 in Durham's favor. For those interested, the lines on each rehabbing Yankee:

Judge - 12 AB, 0 R, 1 H, 1 RBI, 0 BB, 6 SO, 0.083 AVG
Stanton - 11 AB, 0 R, 1 H, 3 RBI, 0 BB, 7 SO, 0.091 AVG

Most importantly to the home squad though...

6/14 - 11,283 in attendance (112.83% capacity)
6/15 - 12,000 in attendance (120.00% capacity)
6/16 - 11,769 in attendance (117.69% capacity)

Awesome! How is the ballpark?
Really nice, the LEDs make it seem like daytime, you don't realize just how dark it is until they turn them down. Didn't get to explore too much because it took us a while to figure out parking and navigating the traffic. Food/drinks are ****ing expensive, $7 footlong corndog, $5.50 for a standard soft drink (opted for a $4 water). We were 3rd level, first base, great sight lines (it's been so long since I was at Turner I can't remember enough to compare...nor have I been to any other stadiums/fields).

Braves won 7-2 after a shakey innings 2-6...fun game though!

SunTrust Park location kinda sucks, but I love the stadium. I liked how Turner Field was downtown, even if some of the surrounding area was kinda sketchy.

I'll be going to the July 4th game against the Phillies. I've got to boo Bruce Hooper a lot when he came to town with the gNats, so booing him with his new team will be fun, along with the firework show.

So interesting proposal that might (somewhat) affect the Bulls - MLB is apparently looking into making the Rays a two-city team, playing the first half of the season in Tampa Bay and the second half of the season in Montreal.
