The All-star team is Team Canada
Give the TSN camera an award too!
Great, but thats not how it works. Fagemo scored 8 goals.
Did they announce MVP yet?
Board is about to explode with Sandin winning best D-man haha.
Best defenseman Sandin...Romanov got robbed deserved it more imo, he was the winner for me.
Hayton!!! My captain!!
Could Romanov have won a 2nd in a row?
I wouldn't say robbed. I would have picked romanov as well but sandin was right there and really exploded the last two games.
Ehh 10 points and only on for 1 goal against 5v5 the whole tourny? He was pretty good
This would’ve been my team too, Hayton didn’t really impress me but neither did any other forward tbh so i guess he is the right choice, Höglander maybe but he took stupid penaltys and played his worst game in the bronze game.
Romanov was better than Sandin, but not by much
It's been done before, I forget by who though.
I can see a case for Romanov too, but saying he was robbed is a massive stretch
Yeah, I used the wrong word there.
Might be some bias here too considering he's your teams prospect.
Sandin or Romanov, it's a close call but as they are both on the all star team, it make sense.
No one was robbed, Sandin deserved the MVP Dman, Doesn’t take away Romanov’s great tournament, he’s probably the more complete guy but its like the norris, putting point on the board is more valuable!
Defensively he blew sandin away. Offensively sandin was better but not by much. Was defintely a toss up.
No, a few sports analyst mentioned it as well. The only bias people have is anti-Russian bias...would you react differently if he was anything but Canadian or American?
Yes because 60 points and being a minus 30 will get you a norris these days.
I admit to not watching every game but how did he blow him away defensively? Is there something to point to here for this claim? Some stats or something?
I mean, the goal that knocked them out of the tournament was some brutal defending so that kinda stands out. lol
Meh, you can find a goal like that for every single D in the league. Over the entire tournament he was generally good defensively.
I'll wait for someone else to reply but Romanov (aside from one bad penalty) didn't make any noticeable mistakes, he was just an absolute rock not just in the defensive zone but also in the neutral zone. This is based on my viewings only though.
Separate names with a comma.
