I came up with the idea of making lines or lineups with thebest players of the draft.
    Here's my lines for the 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007 drafts:
    2003:
    Staal-Carter-Bergeron
    Phaneuf-Suter
    Fleury

    Vanek-Parise-Horton
    Weber-Coburn
    Harding
    2004:
    Ovechkin-Malkin-Olesz
    Barker-Smid
    Schwarz

    Radulov-Schremp-Ladd
    Meszaros-Green
    Dubnyk
    2005:
    Ryan-Crosby-Brule
    Johnson-Staal
    Rask
    Pouliot-Zagrapan-Kopitar
    Bourdon-Kindl
    Price
    2006:
    Frolik-Joensuu-Kessel
    Johnson-Brassard
    Blanchard

    Sheppard-Little-Vasyunov
    Lamontagne-Corrente
    Boutin
    2007:
    Gratchev-Hamill-Esposito
    Kerr-Llewellyn
    Sexsmith

    Couture-Gillies-O'Brien
    Grant-Alzner
    ?
The positions are wrong in most lines, but what do you guys think?

The line I would like to see out of the 2005 draft...

Bobby Ryan - Sidney Crosby - Alex Bourret

    Now that would be great.

Nope... I was surprised when I saw him listed D. I've seen him play a few time on TV and one time live and he's a C.

How does Barker keep making it on these "all star" teams?

He has been playing lazy, uninspired hockey.

    Grrr...
