Well if they're 100% in "win now, mortgage the future" mode and we want to daydream without thinking about 2023 then:

2022 1st, Trocheck, Jarvis, Suzuki for Eichel

2023 1st, Drury/Bokk + for Forsberg (10% retained)

Gardiner + 2nd for future considerations

Sign Svech for 7.5M.

To the thread title: no
All part of the plan.

Raanta gets injured, goes on IR, and Anderson plays. We save cap space.

Raanta gets healthy, Anderson goes on IR. We save cap space.

We'll just need Raanta to be able to play 100% of the games Anderson is injured for, and Anderson to be able to play 100% of the games Raanta is injured for

If Raanta gets injured right now, we can IR him till the playoffs and bring him back fully healthy!

I wonder if any Euro players who haven’t been here recently will have issues coming to the states…..like Sellgren

I have a vaccinated relative who was denied entry because Astra-Zeneca vaccine is not recognized by US and now they can’t take any other vaccine

Lyon is a solid choice for a #3 that's had some NHL experience. Can certainly play backup for a bit when needed.

It's a really nice lineup for the Wolves so far, especially considering the likes of Suzuki, Rees, (probably) Drury, Bokk, Cotton, Mattheos, Murray, Smallman, Lajoie, Sellgren, Keane, and Makiniemi making up the backbone. It wouldn't shock me if they combine with these other signings for a Calder Cup-contending lineup.

Well, healthy TT/rebound from Svech/next step from Necas/NN and Tro in contract year - the top 6 could be really good though.

The biggest problem is that we lost our identity. We are skating hard, fast team, great on the forecheck but I don't see how we can replace Brock and Foegs in that regard. They were tough to play against but we are much softer now.

They sound more fun to watch, too.

Is Makiniemi officially coming over? Just wondering since we have Lyon and Warm as well. Maybe Makiniemi goes to Florida or we have a taxi squad again with Lyon.

I guess we qualified Wells for the expansion draft and begged him not to accept the offer?
