Eh, this is just Nalimov's agent trying to negotiate a move at goaltender. No team is going to be stupid enough to trade for a goalie who has been complete garbage for his entire career, save for a 4 week period. This is a mutual termination--his KHL team doesn't want him either.

Nothing is given yet you want to give Forsberg another shot he doesn't deserve

Forsberg played his way out of Chicago and his nonsense injury to end year should see him gone

Not a big fan of Forsberg myself but don't you think you're writing him off a bit prematurely? .... and at the same time assuming Nalimov is NHL material? .... and furthermore, writing off Darling after a bad year playing with a god-awful team that would make any goalie look bad? ..... but then again, what else is new. You truly do live in a black and white world, when it comes to evaluating NHL talent.

Forsberg is currently blocking him from NHL roster spot. Hawks can easily remedy that by removing Forsberg and giving job to Nalimov

Instead our GM is looking at how Carolina can fleece us while taking back that god awful Darling contract
Or, you know... he could put some confidence in himself and try to beat him out of a job.

Forsberg is not guaranteed anything next year, so he is not blocking him.

He terminated his KHL contract and is looking to make jump

Jump is not viable with Hawks since Hawks appear to value terrible players like Forsberg over him and thus his agent is requesting Hawks attempt to trade him to NHL team that will give him shot

If nothing occurs he then re-ups in KHL for at least another year
And you base this value they place based on literally nothing?

Because of what push of evidence? Have they said anything of any worth to their goalies since other than talk about thinking Crow will be fine? They cant cut a contract like that like its the khl and it's not trade season to place some blame on them not moving him. Its laughable to say such things that are only pushing bias and not the situation

...and this is coming from the same guy that wants to sign Cam f***ing Ward for 2mil??

And how do you know the Hawks value Forsberg over Namilov? This is the first year he’s expressed any interest in coming over to the nhl. Unless you have some kind of inside information I’m not privy to?

Blackhawks prospects Evan Barratt and Josh Ess will be competing for the US at this summer's eval camp for the World Junior Championship. Ess is a shock for those of us who follow USA Hockey, he seems to be rising here, as getting a shot over names like Wilde, Stastney, Gildon, etc is a good sign.

Unless the goaltender's name is Corey Crawford, there is not a single goaltender in this organization who should be given anything. While Forsberg can claim that he was marginally better than Halak this past season behind a similar abortion of a defense, there should be a war on for that backup slot come the preseason--no matter who is applying.
