I like a good power 5 matchup on Thursday's, gets the weekend off to a good start. The next time a MAC school draws more than 2k for a game will be the first, their attendance is brutal.

CFB belongs on Saturdays. I consent to the MAC for Thursdays because they have the great publicity line, "Thursday night MACtion!" It's so bad it's good. But essentially, I don't want to stay up that late, sometimes work actually gets done on a Friday, and staying up late on random Thursdays puts a crink in that. Why ruin a good thing? CFB = Saturday (Bowl season excepted)


Regarding Miss St and LSU, I still don't believe in LSU. It was mighty impressive they beat Georgia, props, but they still don't get the respect many would like to lather over them. It's psychological, LSU will be too happy after beating Georgia, and looking toward next week with Bama. Miss St represents the perfect trap game. A team that should just lose on paper, also feels good after righting the ship by beating an Auburn team that originally helped put this LSU squad on the map. Miss St beat Auburn more comfortably than LSU did. Something something transitive property.

Penn St has crossed over into my least favorite anything in pro or amateur sports. Villanova gets a lot of crap for their entitlement and it exists for sure, but we're talking peak Notre Dame levels with the tone deafness. And I used to be a fan growing up.
