I'm not remotely a lawyer but my instinct is that this gets slapped down pretty immediately.


And security deposit is typically 1 month's rent...so what happens if there ends up being a second month? How is move-out cleaning or repairs funded? I tend to be pro-renter assuming the renter isn't a raging dick, but this seems to shaft landlords way too hard.

This dude is simply stupid. This is a guy who went bankrupt multiple times running casinos, where the business model is "people hand you lots of money," because he competed all his casinos against each other. This is the guy who is now actively competing the Federal government against states (and the states against each other) for medical supplies. See the pattern?
