Anyone know where besides customthrowbackjerseys.com I can get a 1995 home white CCM jersey? I'm looking to have it customized with Lemieux. I've checked sportsk, coolhockey and icejerseys but can't find it on any of their sites. The logo in the pictures on customthrowback seem smaller than I would expect and the CCM isn't shown on the back. I don't mind shelling out the $$$ but I would hope for as accurate a reproduction as possible.

Anyone have any thoughts on this?

That jersey is no good. The CCM logo was only worn on the back neck from 2000-01 season through 2003-04 season. Not only that but the jersey in the picture is air-knit when in the 94-95 season they wore ultrafil.

Best bet is to wait on ebay and find a CCM ultrafil where the logo is embroidered (if it is a patch it is a fake). For both jerseys the CCM logo is big-block style and it is black with white lettering on the white/home jerseys and white with red lettering on the away/red jerseys.

Below is an example of what they wore in that season. Hope it helps!

I had to be in Cleveland this week for work. I was able to catch a Cleveland Monsters game and John Madden is their head coach. Packed my jersey with the faint hope that he might autograph it during warmups. Madden didn't come out for warmups initially, but it seemed like somebody alerted him that there was some weirdo with his jersey and he came out of the tunnel. Thanked him for the autograph and he disappeared back into the dressing room.

Nice! At least he came out for you!

I gotta get your job, I don't get to travel for work like that haha.

Cleveland was the only travel I did for work last year and this was the 2nd year I went for the same convention. Worked out well for me, there was a WWE event on Monday, Cavs on Wednesday, and Monsters on Thursday. I think last year I went during the AHL All-Star week, so there weren't any games.

Definitely was awesome for Madden to come out, albeit he didn't seem overly enthused. But I suppose he had to keep an even demeanor as coach. I forgot to steal a Sharpie beforehand (figured it was a long shot to get an autograph), so Madden had a staffer bring one out. Would have preferred it in blank ink, but silver will do.

That was nice of him to sign it. Mad Dog always seemed like a guy of few words if you were to see him out somewhere. Always had a mean look on his face haha.

I didn't see Devils jerseys nor player tees but, a store called Team Spirit in the Rockaway Mall has a lot of Devils stuff such as glassware, blankets, beach towells, hats, gloves, pennents, magnets, etc.

They are located on the lower level near Sears.

For those of you in the area give them a visit soon.

They also carry other NHL teams stuff along with the other sports leagues.

That store is a markup fraud. Do not go in there at any circumstance. Can buy the same stuff at the Modell's 50 feet away for 20% less

I landed a cheap Team USA jersey at Marshall's. Debating who I might have it customized with:

Knee jerk thought was Auston Matthews.

Eichel wouldn't be a bad one either.

Clayton Keller might be a darkhorse candidate.

Miles Wood wore the jersey for the World Championships last year.

......or maybe I could go with the Thatcher Demko? He's from the same neck of the woods I'm at.

It's a lock that ZBC bought the Zajac. Wonder what the hold up is with JJ. :sarcasm:

If I were to go Wood, I'd be patient and make sure he is a player. Actually waiting it out to see where Mathews and Eichel line up might be a good idea as well.

Zajac is now on it's second owner after me I believe lol.

Keeping the JJ as I got a good price on it as Stadium Series gamers are expensive.

Wood's probably a long shot in terms of getting the jersey customized. Oddly I've always preferred getting jerseys for players who shoot left since that's how I shoot. Always was a pet peeve to see a right handed player wearing something like a Gretzky jersey during pickup hockey.

Matthews/Eichel seem like pretty safe bets. Might have more of a reason to like Matthews since he was born in California (but raised in Arizona). Demko would be a fun one to get with the San Diego connection, but I probably should wait to see how he progresses.

Got this one in last night. Paul Martin 2005-06 White set 2 JM memorial patched game worn jersey. Used to have Paul Martin Set 1 patched from the same year but sold it last year and have been wanting a JM-patched jersey since as they are drying out along with the 25th anniversary patched.

Got this one over the weekend: Doug Daswell Utica Devils 1991-92 red game worn jersey. Has some nice wear on it including stick and puck marks on the front and shoulders. The jersey shows evidence of a recycled nameplate as that was common for AHL gamers and Utica in particularly at that time (my Kevin Dean white 91/92 Utica game worn was a recycled Weinrich and Albelin).

Dadswell? That's a random name from the past dude!

He did get in 27 games with Calgary in the NHL, between 86-87 and 87-88!

When the Devils changed to red/black, was there any change to shade/hue of red? I just recently ordered a Lemieux red/green CCM vintage from coolhockey.com and while it looks great, the red is very slightly different than any of the other jerseys I have whether they are CCM or Reebok premier. The color difference is more noticeable in the arena under the ice lighting. It's nowhere near as bad as seeing the Chinese knockoffs (those can be spotted a mile away) but it's still there. Anybody? :)

Thanks and yeah definitely random! I got the jersey off a collector who has had the jersey since he purchased it from Meigray from June of 1998. Basically it has been sitting in his closet for the past 19 years!

Yes, they changed the hue of the red when they changed over in 1992 to the red, white and black scheme to a slightly shade darker. They also went a little more darker in 1999 when they started wearing ProPlayer jerseys for the 99-2000 season (only season to wear PP jerseys) and have stuck with that shade ever since.

    http://www.****************/logos/list_by_team/18/New_Jersey_Devils/

Also, the current throwbacks use a shade of green that is a little darker than what they used to wear. Even Daneyko mentioned this during the retro game last month.

Appreciate the input. :) The red on the jersey I received is a bit lighter in hue than current so I guess it's all good.
