Avs did do well with Namestnikov but the Islanders are better today than yesterday but payed a ridiculous price.

Dubai and his advanced analytics that doesnt account for leadership, work ethic, professionalism or chemistry. Not trying to say that leafs don’t have any of those things. Or that those things don’t show in results but quantifying them directly is difficult. It’s not money ball, and although advanced Analytics is a great tool It certainly shouldn’t be the number one factor in building your team.

I'd have to think they'd have to have open conversations about all players they are interested in. Don't think being in on Kovalchuk means not being in on others.
