Not expecting much of anything from this fight. There's a reason Jake Paul hand-picked Ben Askren, and scurried away with his tail between his legs when guys like Michael Bisping or Nate Diaz challenged him. There's absolutely no chance he will ever agree to fight someone who actually knows how to throw a proper punch.

Who's paying to watch this fight? I'm hoping Askren can pull off the upset otherwise the MMA community won't hear the end of it

Instead of putting on these virtual concerts they could've added a couple of exciting fighters to what is going to (sadly) be one of the bigger events of the year

Calls himself an elite boxer, challenges MMA grapplers.

As a big MMA fan I'm expecting Jake to win by points. Askren is a wrestler who didn't do well in the UFC. Jake Paul fanboys can say what they want post fight but it doesn't really say much.

We're just hoping Paul loses for the hell of it but won't happen i think.

If Ben clinches Jake over and over Jake may ruin his future PPVs.

This fighting event is absolute cringe and if Jake doesn't show he's a good boxer it would be horrendous.

Looked very much like Ben just wanted the money and didn't give a shit about actually fighting. Wouldn't be at all surprised if he used that big shot as an excuse to stop the fight.

Yeah, he never seemed into this. Even the lead up, he didn't talk the same as for MMA fights and seemed completely disinterested whenever I saw him. Hes retired and some kid offers him a couple hundred thousand for 2 minutes and a couple punches? He'd be silly not to take it, everyone on the planet knows he isn't a striker.

I don't think there's any question as to what Ben's motivation was for this fight. I think it was a quick stoppage, but I think Ben just didn't care. Not that Ben was ever a fantastic striker, but he looked like he made no effort at all anyway.

That was weak. Askren got grazed and went down pretty easily. A guy with his MMA background should at least know how to defend himself. That wasn't even much of a combination. He definitely tanked there and did not feel like being in the ring much longer.

That was such a farce. Couldn't have been more obvious when they showed Askren and his wife walking off into the locker room smiling.
