Another question regarding "vintage" jerseys

I have seen some out there for sale from the 1978-1981 set
Philadelphia Flyers 1978-81 - The (unofficial) NHL Uniform Database

I was wondering tho about the "C" and "A" colour on these particualar sets. I have seen some with a black C on the white, some with an orange C on white and some with white C on white.

Anyone know the proper colours schemes used - or if all colour schemes have been used on this set?

So...it's a complicated matter.

78 would have the Orange on on black for the white jerseys and a white on black for the orange.
79/80 should be the same.
80/81 would be white on orange for the white jerseys and typically black C on white for the orange.

Also, there weren't any A's from 78/79-80/81, only Captains. Clarke in 78/79 and Bridgman in 79/80 and 80/81.

Well I got this one in today...

Ivan Provorov Reverse Retro Set One. It was worn in three games including the debacle at Lake Tahoe.

It is photomatched to the 2/24 game against the Rangers due to the marks on the sleeve.

Oskar Lindblom 20/21 Third Jersey Set Two

The jersey was worn in a couple games. I haven’t bothered to get the official breakdown of set dates but it was photomatched to the 4/18 game against the Islanders among other games. The 4/18 game was the Hockey Fights Cancer night where the entire team wore Lindblom HFC blouses for warmups.

Well it's coming... ad patches to the NHL starting in 2022-23 -- I assume in conjunction with the helmet ones started last season -- Question begging to be asked is what do the avid Jersey Fans do to keep kosher? The Snider patch may have been a precursor to this, where we had to go rogue to keep authenticity with our jerseys. Any thoughts on possible circumstances going forward? Past NBA situation may give us a clue.

I hear you, my friend... with me you can add to that that I'm caught in a personal dilemma, you might say; keeping it true-ish vs refusing to go along with an unpopular policy brought on by the financial hardships stemming from Covid-19. TBH, I fully understand the NHL being caught between a rock and a hard place, trying to get by by caving into brash commercialism... The board ads quickly became a non issue over time, and I suppose so will this... just please dear Lord, don't make them eventually look like so many European jerseys... or a NASCAR suit/car.

Thanks for the NBA info... that helps. I suspect that I will be going the route where if the Jersey I purchase has it, I'll wear it... if it doesn't, I'm not going out of my way to get it put on.

Those who know me know that I'm not a Knockoff Jersey guy... but damn this is an excellent one. Don't get me wrong, if you know Flyers Jerseys, you know it's fake by the Customization... but for the sheen on it, you'd have to look close and compare it to a real Reverse-Retro Flyers Jersey though.

For $60 I just couldn't pass it up; I've wanted to get a RR for a while now. I really wanted a Couturier one, but to be honest, it didn't look good at all... I believe it was the long nameplate, as opposed to the Hayes short one... it was honestly like day and night, with Hayes being so good and Coots being so bad.

What do you guys think... I can take it... but please do be kind. Haha
