Very happy for him. interestingly though, this hurts Edmonton's cap situation as they now lose another $785K worth of salary pool from LTIR. If Archie comes back as well, Edmonton's going to be real tight.

Nevermind on second thought, the lost pool is offset by the fact he's gone to the minors anyways.

Signed? I thought his contract was still this year?

Eliotte into the margaritas early this afternoon?

Yes, he was signed for this year and I can't see that they would extend him?? Surely they have enough of these end of the road multi year deals?

Not worried about them impacting our cap much. Their salaries are relatively low (especially Stalock's), and by the time they come back to play for us (if they do), most of the season and their cap will be next to nothing.
