Honestly? Good for him.

He didn't get a storybook ending in a lot of ways. But the guy battled back from an injury that could have very well killed him or at minimum cost him his leg or his career. Instead the dude put his head down and battled to get back on the field.

He gets to go out on his terms and will be remembered as a solid player. Hats off to him.
