ECHL rookie of the year last season and has had an up and down season split between the AHL and ECHL. He's stuck in San Antonio most recently with 10+10 in 14 games, earning him a contract with Phoenix. Will he be able to carry this recent performance forward in the next few years and push for a regular spot on an NHL roster?

FYI - HF has him rated at 4.0B, same rating as Joel Perrault and Dan Carcillo.

He actually won the ECHL scoring title in the process, as a rookie.

I've never, personally, seen him play. But statistically what he has done so far, for being an undrafted player, is pretty impressive.
I watched him play one year of Junior A at Notre Dame. He was terrific. Won the SJHL Rookie of the Year award at age 16, playing in a league that, at the time, didn't have a cap on the number of 20-year-olds. You could tell at that point that he had high-end skill. Size was the only question mark.

He didn't fare well at Wisconsin, and put up good, but not great numbers in the Dub. Good to see that he's got his career on track. He has the potential to be a good offensive player in the show. He needs to deliver on that potential.
