I think Drouin has a higher ceiling points wise playing his natural position (wing), not sure Galchenyuk will ever be a center on a good team.

Disappointing? Yeah.
Busts? Nah. Both players have hit 50 points. Are either players top 6 players on a cup contender? Probably not.

I don’t see why not. How many teams have 6 forwards capable of putting up 50+ points? Not a whole lot.

Washington just won the cup with Vrana and Stephenson both getting time in the top-6. Drouin and Galchenyuk would have been easy choices for the second line LW.

Drouin at wing, he is going to be a star. Breakout year this season, at least 65 points i'd predict.

I was hoping to see JR go after Galchenyuk, I think he has more to give then how he performed in Montreal
With that said though, I do think Drouin is the better all around player. But it's close
