- Holland finally gets his man. The Red Wings drafted Quine back in 2011, but he re-entered the draft.

- Griffith was one of the better players on those stacked London Knights teams with Domi, Horvat, Tierney, Anderson, Maatta, Zadorov, etc.

Forsberg is a good number 3 goalie. Holland mentioned that they were looking for a starter and a guy to be third string basically in his pre draft interview

I just would have assumed he'd have been guaranteed NHL time given his season, that's all. I'm not knocking it.

He isn't that bad and with the pathetic bottom 6 on offense he may make the team out of camp. If he doesn't make the team he'll be one of the first call ups.

meh, competition for a roster spot. Holland added atleast 3 or 4 extra forwards last year too. Nygard and Haas kinda remained but Jurco, Granlund, Berdasov etc were let go.
