A minor correction, Li isn't scratched he is sent down and travels around the country with VHL Bars making it very unlikely he gets injected into the KHL lineup. Interestingly enough, Zhuravlyov was sent down to the MHL as well but only for the home games.

Zhiravlyov is on a conditioning stint. He has not played in the playoffs.

Not really. Nothing surprising about coaches going with a winning lineup and not changing it in favor of a young defenceman. And it's better for him to get game practice rather than sit in the press box.

Well that's what I meant, there is little difference if you call it "conditioning stint" or simply send him down to the MHL without calling it anything. The reasons are obvious and there is nothing criminal about it.
