Laval was on a 5-on-3 for about 15 seconds, but before one of their penalties is about to expire, they get called for something else and the 5-on-3 is extended.

Alain keeps making bad decisions to kill a 5 on 3 pp.

And they score. 5-2. Jevpalovs throws it on the net from the corner and it hits a skate to go in.

Bouchard never thought about pulling Primeau. He is the goalie with the least experience and it was important to get his feet wet. It wasn't easy for him tonight. He also went long stretches without shots.



Bouchard says he is satisfied with his guys. He notes that they are ahead of where they were at this point last year. The guys held on and worked hard. It wasn't perfect but he saw good things.

Bouchard confirmed that Varone, Weise, Peca, and Ouellet will play today. Only Alzner won't play among those who were recently assigned to Laval.

Nah, he was on the ice with them the next day after clearing waivers. They just wanted to let him have more practice time since he was coming from injury.

Vejdemo and Jevpalovs have to be two of the best penalty killers in the AHL. Jevpalovs gets the puck past the Sens goalie but it slide past the net.
