AHL Worcester Sharks beat writer Ballou with his weekly column looks at the dichotomy of development vs entertainment in the league.

Thinks the Sharks, as they are now, with the development emphasis of the team, is probably losing between $1m and $1.3m annually.

Doesn't think that adding more AHL vets, to the tune of say $500k more, would provide an additional $500k of revenue.

(FTR, the AHL Sharks are owned by the parent club)
