Laval came out in the second period with a purpose. They dominated that period. And the good news is that they at least got a goal out of it and the lead. Shots were 11-3 in favor of Laval in the 2nd. But this lead is far from comfortable. They need wins however they come, but ideally, they would be regulation wins against divisional rivals like Belleville and the upcoming Syracuse back-to-back.

The pair of disappointments link up to get that goal. Grenier with nice zone entry to feed Shinkaruk for the goal.

Also of note, Alzner creating the turnover in the neutral zone that permitted Grenier to take control of the puck and enter the zone.

if they could get that line going it would be huge as Grenier with just his 7th point and Shinkaruk just his 8th. Audette has been better with 9 in 4 less games then his linemates.
