I know that........my post was just dry humor lolAs expected. They were only sharing the franchise because of covid and everyone expected that was a 1 year deal.

That's kinda what the Wolves be about. This years squad looks to be stacked with NHL 2/way contracts
Hope he gets some time on ice given all the recent signings.
I don't want someone insanely dirty, but one of the reasons I'm okay with both Brock and Warren leaving is Brock was never as physical as when he first came up to my eye and Warren couldn't quite replicate his motor and pest qualities most of the time. I think it's good that they both improved their games in other areas but hate they lost that. And I'm not even one of the biggest OMG we're too soft types. It really does feel like Jamieson Rees is the heir apparent to Brock McGinn. Wouldn't be a bad outcome for 44th overall. Although I would not be surprised if Jamieson plays the game dirtier than Brock. As tough as Brock was, I rarely saw him do extracurriculars after the whistle or after the play has left that I have heard about in Rees's game.

We do need some guys with a little more innate snarl so it sticks as they progress. I don’t know if I’m omg about it but we’re generally too soft. Especially for the playoffs. The first year under Rod we were probably good enough that way but obviously lacked skill.I don't want someone insanely dirty, but one of the reasons I'm okay with both Brock and Warren leaving is Brock was never as physical as when he first came up to my eye and Warren couldn't quite replicate his motor and pest qualities most of the time. Yeah, and I'm not saying that I don't want grit or snarl. As I said, we missed it from those guys as they matured. Always wondered why guys like him don’t get more chances in the NHL. Point per game in the AHL for the last few seasons has only earned him 2 NHL games at age 27.
Dalpe, Boychuk, Terry...
Don't disagree at all. Honestly Dalpe, Boychuk, Terry probably wouldn't have gotten looks if they were on the Checkers the past few years because of the quality of the Canes system recently...they got played out of necessity because we couldn't attract (or spend on) UFAs and were cheap. I'm guessing if Zykov, McKeown, Carrick, Roy were in the system at the time they would have likely gotten games too (McKeown can't be worse than guys like Borer, Rodney, Sangs). Honestly, he was a great player for the Checkers, but I think his skating is probably what's held him back the mostAll 3 of those guys got at least got 100+ games in the NHL to prove they weren’t NHL guys. How’s a guy like Pots only get 2 games? Probably
deserves a few more chances than what he’s been given. He’s also improved statistically since his two game stint with the Canes. I just feel bad for players like him. Being undersized and and having an undrafted pedigree likely hurt his chances at seeing NHL ice. If he was a 1st round draft pick like a Boychuk he easily is gifted NHL ice time for being the AHL scoring leader.

Not sure what that goalie was doing but nice shot from Serikov
i can’t find a draft scouting report on this guy
