He has to agree to a contract structure that will support that.

Bean will be on his ELC next season, so that would be the time to have him on as a #7. The year after, if Seattle takes Fleury or Skjei instead of Bean (likely the former w/o any compensation), they can agree to a 2 year bridge with a staggered salary.

Imagine getting assigned to San Jose, and doing a road trip through Hershey -> Wilkes-Barre -> Binghamton -> Utica. I bet they have to check the baggage compartment for stowaways when they leave.

Are you suggesting people are itching to leave...because Binghamton is the townie trashiest place in America. The natives embrace it...they call themselves and each other "garbage" and relish in how much it sucks here and the people suck here. They love it. No stowaways.
Me? I don't get it, I can't wait to leave. I moved here for my ex...and I have 8 more years before my youngest starts college and I can leave. (I will send her anywhere for school as long as it's not near here.)

Worked with a guy who lived there all his life and moved down here when he was 26. Always talked how great it was there compared to here. Ask him why he doesn't move back? "Oh it sucks. No jobs, blah blah blah".

I think that Bean is the youngest winner of the award. He's special young talent, don't see a reason for trade.

They get super pissed off when you point out spiedie marinade is Italian dressing. Apparently, the secret to great spiedies is match-light charcoal...it's just not authentic if it's not bathed in petrochemical smoke.
Also, apparently I'm the only person at Spiedie and Rib Pit ordering the Buffalo Spiedie or the BBQ Spiedie or anything other than plain Spiedie.
Apparently he’s going to top out as an ahl player and has done nothing to impress since being drafted.

I heard a rumour the players threatened to mutiny if they had to live in Chicago instead of Charlotte.
Kinda makes sense considering at one point it was supposed to be announced like 2 or 3 weeks ago.
I won't get my hopes up, but fingers crossed.

This has been one LOOOONG pissing contest...the original story came a couple months back? And then it was 3-4 weeks ago it came up again and got us all in a tizzy. And then they said we'd likely hear after a meeting on May 8 I think? And here we are 3+ weeks later with not a peep about it from either organization
