Talent Analysis
Henrique plays a style of game that will make him fit easily into the organization. He's a sound two-way center who excels on face-offs and the penalty kill. Henrique has good offensive skills and instincts, but hasn't really got a chance to showcase them just yet. His intensity wavers from time to time, but that is common for most players his age.

Future
Henrique isn't flashy, but he's solid in all facets of the game. He has very good on-ice smarts, shines playing an assertive two-way game, and as an added bonus, he shows great leadership skills. Henrique is the type of unheralded prospect who often gets overlooked, but that's not the case in New Jersey.

Likely to turn pro in 2010-11.

Thats basically dead on from what ive seen in the Albany games. He plays much better when better players are around him. He is a solid two way center, who is good at faceoffs, and has a nice scoring touch.

DEVILS ALL THE WAY*

Henrique is a prototypical Devil and will be a ancher on our 3rd line for years to come IMO.

The kid is in his rookie season with a so-so supporting cast and he's the leading scorer of the team (21 goals) and is 12 points ahead of the 3rd best leading scorer of the team and is only 7 pts behind Matt Anderson, leading scorer in Albany.

He's a player that seems to translate to a higher level without losing a step. There's a huge difference between the CHL and the AHL but Henrique has adapted so well that he looks like he's been playing in the "pros" for the past 2 or 3 years.

Adam is another gem that Conte and Lou picked up in the 3rd round. Over the past couple of years, our scouting staff has managed to snatch Zharkov, Henrique, Palmieri, Urbom and Wedgewood all in the 3rd round.

New Jersey hasn't had the chance to select in the top 15 for close to two decades and with there past history... I just can't wait to see who they'll draft this year with a possible top ten pick.

He's a guy that does everything well, but nothing great. I think what were seeing him do in the AHL this year as a rookie is about what he should be expected to do at the NHL level, but with the upside for more. He's probably a good bet, at minimum, for 20/20 seasons at the NHL level. He's a great two way player, who provides the intangibles that a lot of other prospects don't have. Future 3rd line center for the Devils, perhaps as early as next season.
