Looking for views on Adam Henrique, after a year of AHL seasoning. Is he ready? I know on the Devils board many of us think so.

I want to know what others outside the rock think of him.

What's his ceiling - Comparable Player
What's his basement - Comparable Player

    Projections for the year.

I'm not going to make comparables because I haven't seen him play since he turned pro, but I think he has the ability to be a really strong & all-around 3rd line centre. And not a low-tier third liner, but an above average to very strong 3rd line C.

Agreed with this. I fell in love with him during his two memorial cups.

Who's the girl in your avatar btw -- I always wonder when I see it.

Further to Henrique, it wouldn't surprise me at all if he stepped into NJ next season as he's not too far away at all, but I can't see how a full year in the AHL next year would't be great for his development. Let him get big minutes there.

Stats don't tell the whole story but he scored 25 goals as a 20 year old in the AHL. I full expect him to be a mid 20's goal scorer like Langenbrunner in many of his better years. The guy has an excellent release and great hockey sense to create space.
