I'm conducting research on Ice Hockey in the US. This is not some "homework assignment" or "school term paper".
The history of hockey in US is a major part of it and that is why I put this thread to The History of Hockey.
I'm quite familiar with the sport. I have figured many things out by sheer numbers, statistics etc. and concluded somesort of geographical hotbeds of hockey in the US (Minnesota, Michigan, New York and Massachusetts). College hockey playes a big part in hockey in the US and some hints about that area would be nice.
It would be great if someone could point out any good reliable sources: books, articles, trusted websites.
I understand if this is regarded as something against HF boards rules and accept thread deletion etc. if this kind of threads have been a problem here.
