Bishop would have been a great fit for this team. Specifically due to his puck handling skill. If it was as simple as just picking between the two, he would be the better choice.

Darling has been OK with the exception of his recent glove-hand yips. As long as that doesn't become a chronic issue, he will be an OK goalie for the HCanes...some might even say he's the best starter this franchise has seen since Sean Burke.

Since Burke? That is not good because Burke was horrible for this franchise. He only really started to become better when he left and went to Pheonix,. Help me to understand this comparison. Was that you attempting to be funny?

Let's wait until he is better than current-day Cam Ward before we start comparing him to best-of Cam Ward, and then we'll take a look at comparing him to Arturs Irbe.

I will go as far to say he is one of the main reasons why the team won the cup in 06. So many people forget he was the starter that year. He also bailed us out in Buffalo when we were on the ropes.
