He was the straw that stirred the drink for a couple seasons with those great Canucks team at the start of last decade. That eye injury might've been the single most impactful thing that happened to the Canucks for the 2011 playoffs.

Dude was my favorite player for like 5 years. He was arguably the best defensive forward fin the league for a few years (yeah even better than Bergeron). Heck, the one year he even finished 6th in Selke voting (with 4 first place votes) despite finishing the season with 17 points.
