I was just wondering how much faith you have with the USAtoday site? I was just looking up some salaries, and some players stats and came up with this mess.

USAtoday says that Mickail Yakubov is 5'11-190lbs, born july 4,1975 in Bloomington Minnesota, reality is 6'3-202, feb 16, 1982, Barnaul, Russia

USAtoday----Tuomo Ruutu--6'2-195, oct19,1976, Fernie British Columbia, actual----6'2-208,feb 16, 1983, Vantaa, Fin

Usatoday----Pavel Vorobiev--6'1-190, july9, 1973, Simcoe, Ont, actual----6'0-194, may5,1982, Karaganda, Kaz.

USAtoday----Anton Babchuk--6'5-225,july31,1980, Horovice, Czech., actual----6'5-202, may6,1984, Kiev, Ukr

USAtoday----Ovechkin--6'3-216,june20,1980, Jihzava, Czech. actual----6'2-212, sept17,1985, Moscow, Russia.

USAtoday----Kari Lehtonen--6'0-190,aug24, 1972, Turko, Finland. actual----6'3-200, nov16, 1983, Helsinki, Fin.

USAtoday----Nikolai Zherdev, 6'2-206,mar3,1980, Thornhill, Ont. actual----6'0, 176,nov5, 1984, Kiev, Ukr.

I know I rambled on, but there were many more, and over the years I have found many mistakes with players stats on this site also. Using salaries from this site is fine, but I don't think I would use it to help find players history, stats, games played ect.
Just a thought.

A very valid point, but I know I certainly don't use it for anything more than salaries. But whatever, it's worth noting that it's not a reliable place for stats.

Alright, I guess we'll have to cut it down to 25 teams unless I start getting some more people on board. BTW, could any of you guys let me know if you are no longer interested rather than just never showing up again? That really ticks me off when people just vanish.

25 will do, we'll see how good the NHL would be if it contracted. :D

Yeah, 25 isn't so bad. I just wouldn't want like 12 teams and to have guys like Smyth and Satan available in the 8th round.

This sounds good to me, but what does this do for our trade now?

Meh, I see no reason why it shouldn't go ahead. Since ofhdhdy joined, it'll be 26 teams. I'll fix up the lists and what not and we'll get underway shortly.

I went to the link and posted my pick, and I'm not sure if your supposed to do it here as well, but I will anyways.

The Dallas Stars are thrilled to make Ilya Kovalchuk,LW-1,130,000, the cornerstone to there squad.

I will PM Markov

Nah, you don't have to post it here...

I'm too late for the draft but if there's any abandoned teams, maybe they could move their franchise to:

Edmonton Oilers
Carolina Hurricanes

And I could manage them?

Or, give me the scrap leftovers to make my Edmonton Oilers roster, after all, that's all the franchise can afford these days.

How about it? It's like an expansion team. All I ask is to be able to draft a lot of youth, as in real life for new teams.

You could just take over my teams (as I'm no longer running this or even participating). The Flames have gotten off to a good start and already have Hejduk, Khabibulin, Brewer and Nagy (I think that's their roster anyways) and the Canucks (can't even remember who they have :D ). Anyways, give it some thought.
