[FIELDSET="QUOTES TO NOTE"]

It always feels good to score, mainly it was the win that felt the best. We needed this win.
- Rick Nash

We hit, we were physical and I think that was the key. I saw that from the net.
As soon as the puck was out of the zone, you could see the forecheck we had, the attention to detail was there.
Down below the hashmarks, we were cycling the puck, we were strong on the puck. We didn’t lose many battles down there.
- Martin Biron

We were more disciplined. I thought our changes were better. We talked about it. Those little things add up to give you a fair shake to win.
And Marty played well. Marty made some big saves. He settles the team down because there’s not a lot of wasted motion. He’s calm in the net.
- John Tortorella

I'm excited for the pregame talk about the 3 new bodies in the lineup. Excited to see what Miller can bring to the table. Devils have been up and down this season. Jump down there throat early. Get that forecheck going. Score early and dont take early penalties.

3-0 Rangers. Goals by Powe, Mashinter, and Miller :sarcasm:

Not a doubt in my mind Mashinter drops the gloves tomorrow. He's going to want to try and make a quick impression.

Nice not to see Rupp and Bickel slotted in as forwards. Minutes there for the taking tomorrow night for any of those bottom six, lets see who steps up. LGR!

Can't wait! Anyone who is going to the game, make sure to be extra loud when Fatso gets scored on! LGR.

I think Miller does well. That 4th line looks pretty good. I'll predict as little ice time as Torts plans on giving Miller, he ends up on the 3rd line by the end of the game.

To add to your prediction, at least according to LoFFen's predicted lineup, Miller and Asham switch.

Though I can't see why Halpern would be on the same line as Boyle. Halpern has been getting better and better on faceoffs. No point in having him on the wing.

I really don't think Miller sticks, but it'd be nice to see him fit in decently. If he shows an ability to play a sound game on both ends and does some little things right he'll get a longer look and some additional ice time next game.

That's all one can realistically hope for at this point. Anything more is unexpected and awesome.

I'll be in attendance tomorrow! First game of the season. So pumped to see Nasher live. Also happy that I'll get to see Miller in his first NHL game. But most importantly lets get the two points and get a nice little streak going. LGR!

I was talking to my buddy about this last thursday on the way to the ranger game, but anyways I was saying to him I can't wait for Miller to make his NHL debut just so I can buy a 6 pack of miller light and have my nice quip before the game 'It's Miller Time!' and then cheers and enjoy the game.

Hopefully none of the new guys are one & done..

Here's hoping they spark some fire onto our team..

As for stats and such..I'd be more than happy with + 8 mins for Miller and a + in the +\- thinghy...
