Might be a bad match-up for the Leafs here. Plank in 6 GS in the playoffs has a 1.32 ERA and 6 CG (2-5 record though, poor guy). A great lefty vs. a heavy lefty lineup. The problem with that here is there's an incomplete roster which means there's no one to really plug in to help with that mismatch (plus most of his bench guys are lefties as well).

And we all know Clayton's postseason track record.

The Steam Rollers, true to their name came out swinging early and often against the dominant lefty. After a Sisler walk to lead off the game, Nap followed with a triple and Kershaw failed to get much traction after. Though the Leafs big bats managed to close the gap to 3 runs in the 7th, Jim Rice came off the bench to put the game away with a 2 run blast and Providence started its ATD postseason off with a win against a tough Leafs squad, by a final of 9-3. The road doesn't get any easier for Providence as they face UL's Bridgegrooms next. Well drafted teams on both sides gentlemen.
