I always, always, always compare Point Break and Big Trouble. Now I feel embarrassed at bringing it up in a conversation about 5th element. I like it but the others are epic.

To help 5th element detractors you could compare it in a way to the Golden Child and even Prince of Thieves. All 5 movies have an underlying seriousness that contrasts with a forced wacky "just having fun" thing. The first 2 do it amazingly. The last 2 do it ridiculously (how good were Tywin Lannister and Hans Gruber in those!?) 5th element is right in the middle.
